Added security for your Caterham 7.
Once you have removed your steering wheel for security purposes, there is always the possibility for someone with the same quick release unit on another steering wheel to attach their steering wheel to your car. This sleeve lock slides over the steering column splines with the 6mm diameter shackle of the combination lock being inserted through the hole in the sleeve and locating behind the steering column splines. The numbers on the combination lock are then scrabbled and the sleeve is then locked in place as shown in the photo. It is then not possible, without considerable effort in trying to removing the sleeve lock, to attach another steering wheel. This item has been primarily designed to fit the quick release unit as supplied by Caterham Cars. However, it will fit onto to other steering columns which are 20mm diameter but some work with a round file may be necessary to create space for the shackle of the padlock to pass behind the splines on the steering column.
